Our daycamps

The Day Camps day begins at 9.30am when doors open for registration.

We start with morning games before children assemble in their groups for the day ahead. Each group takes part in activities throughout the day - a sample timetable and pictures of some of our activities is shown in the middle of this brochure.

The day of action packed activities finishes at 4.30pm, which is preceded by sing-song, lost property and the end of day reminders.

In addition to these opening hours, Day Camps will also operate the “Early Bird Club” starting at 8.30am, and the “After Camp Chill-Out” finishing at 5.30pm.

Daycamp Activities

Activities to be taking place (depending upon age) include: Archery, Initiative games, Deer feeding, Wood games, BMX / Mountain biking, Earth Ball Parachute games, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Treasure Hunts, Orienteering, Drama, Tie-dying, Environmental Play, It’s A Knockout and Wide Games.

Campers Checklist!

Most activities are outdoors and continue whatever the weather. It is therefore essential that each child brings a waterproof jacket and a change of clothes. Children should also bring a packed lunch, cold drink, hat and sunscreen. A tuck shop also operates at lunchtimes so a small amount of money is also appropriate.

We strongly discourage children from bringing any items of monetary or sentimental value to Camp – especially mobile phones and mp3 players. We cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings and recommend all items are clearly labelled.
